Winter Wedding – Royal Park Hotel, Rochester, MI

I first met Stephanie and Michael at their summer engagement photo session at the Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI. Stephanie wore a beautiful fuchsia dress that just floated in the wind perfectly. I knew her wedding dress was going to be beautiful and of course it was! Stephanie and Michael met on Bumble and were together 18 months before their engagement. Mike proposed in Palm Beach, FL on the golf course of the Flagler restaurant at Breaker Hotel where Stephanie had visited during her childhood. Stephanie says “It was one of the only times in my life that I have been truly surprised”. Stephanie being a great planner started immediately planning her wedding because she was worried of all the COVID wedding commotions. It was important for them to get married in Michael’s family church and have their closest friends and family attend. They wanted a fairy tale / romantic setting which they felt the Royal Park Hotel offered. They had a horse and carriage awaiting them at their reception which fit their theme perfectly. Stephanie wanted a classic, elegant, and timeless theme with tons of sparkle. Her colors were light pinks , ivory, whites, and her bridesmaids’ dresses had beautiful sparkle. They picked a February date for their wedding because Stephanie loves snow.
